DOG CANCER SYMPTOMS
Malignancy occurs in dogs exactly the same way as it is seen in human beings. Cancer in dogs can occur at any age but as the dog grows older the likelihood of developing cancer increases.

Dog Cancer is also known as neoplasia or abnormal growth of tissues. There are a number of reasons for Dog Cancers besides old age. The environment, genes inherited from his lineage, repeated infestation of toxins in food and allied biological factors contribute to occurrence of cancers.

The first Dog Cancer Symptoms are urinating or defecation problems followed by bloody faeces, discharge of blood from the ears or while vomiting and abdominal swellings. These are accompanied by weight loss, lameness, chronic coughing and listlessness. Some Dog Cancers particularly in the upper trachea or wind pipe and in the digestive tract has the dog struggling to breathe and swallow food or drink water. As he begins to drink less and less water and refuses to eat his condition deteriorates rapidly.

Dog cancersymptoms can be detected early and once the problem has been diagnosed, a biopsy is invariably done to pin point the type of malignancy. Suppressive treatment may then begin and may include a surgical removal of the offending tumor. Dog Cancers are successfully treated nowadays and the dogs continue to live out their normal life spans. In most cases their quality of life is maintained and they can eat and function normally. Some medication has to be administered life long and a few precautions may have to be taken. But these are small things if the Dogcancer remains controlled.
